Air Fryer Babybel Cheese (Print Version)

Bubbly babybel cheese with golden breading, air fried for a quick, melty snack or appetizer.

# Ingredients:

01 - 12 pieces babybel cheese
02 - 3/4 cup Italian bread crumbs
03 - 1/3 cup flour
04 - 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
05 - 1 teaspoon granulated garlic or according to taste
06 - 1/2 teaspoon salt or according to taste
07 - 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper or according to taste
08 - 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
09 - 2 eggs

# Steps:

01 - Unwrap each piece of babybel cheese, removing both the plastic and wax.
02 - In a bowl, beat the eggs thoroughly.
03 - In a separate bowl, combine the Italian bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, salt, cayenne pepper, granulated garlic, and parsley flakes. Mix well to combine.
04 - Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
05 - Dip each babybel cheese into the flour, tapping off the excess. Next, dip it into the beaten egg mixture. Then transfer it to the breadcrumb mixture and coat thoroughly. Repeat the egg and breadcrumb coating for a second layer.
06 - Spray the air fryer basket with a non-stick cooking spray such as avocado oil spray.
07 - Place the coated babybel cheese pieces into the air fryer. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes until golden and crispy.
08 - Use tongs to transfer the cheese to a plate. Serve hot with marinara sauce and enjoy.
