Cheesy Squash Rounds (Print Version)

Golden, crunchy squash slices loaded with melted cheese. An easy, tasty veggie everyone likes.

# Ingredients:

→ Cheese & Breading

01 - 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
02 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
03 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

→ Vegetables

04 - 2 medium yellow squash, cut into thick slices about 1/4-inch wide

→ Seasonings & Oil

05 - 1 teaspoon dried basil
06 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
07 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
08 - A pinch of salt and pepper

# Steps:

01 - Turn your oven to 375°F (190°C) and get a baking sheet ready with a parchment paper layer.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, oregano, basil, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
03 - Brush both sides of each slice with olive oil. Next, press each one into the crumb mixture to coat it thoroughly.
04 - Spread the coated squash slices out on the prepared sheet, making sure they don’t overlap. Sprinkle shredded cheddar across the top.
05 - Pop them into the oven for 20-25 minutes until the cheddar looks golden, bubbly, and slightly crispy.
06 - Cool for a bit before serving them warm and ready to eat.
