Bang Bang Chicken Skewers (Print Version)

Juicy chicken skewers coated in tangy bang bang sauce, perfect for appetizers or main courses, air fried or baked.

# Ingredients:

→ Skewers and Chicken

01 - Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
02 - 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
03 - 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
04 - 1 teaspoon paprika
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1 teaspoon kosher salt
07 - ½ teaspoon black pepper

→ Bang Bang Sauce

08 - 1 ¼ cups mayonnaise (290 g)
09 - ⅔ cup Thai sweet chili sauce
10 - 2 teaspoons Sriracha, adjust to taste
11 - 2 tablespoons honey

# Steps:

01 - In a large bowl, combine the cubed chicken breasts, oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to evenly coat the chicken.
02 - Working one skewer at a time, thread 4-5 chicken cubes onto each soaked wooden skewer.
03 - In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey. Mix well. Divide the sauce in half, reserving one portion for serving.
04 - Brush the chicken skewers with half of the prepared bang bang sauce.
05 - Add the skewers to the basket of an air fryer in a single layer. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 11-12 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking. Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
06 - Transfer the cooked skewers to a plate and drizzle or brush with the reserved bang bang sauce. Serve immediately.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - Soaking the wooden skewers in water prevents them from burning during cooking.
02 - Use an oven at 400°F (200°C) as an alternative if an air fryer is not available.
