BBQ Brisket Sandwich (Print Version)

Juicy brisket cooked low and slow, coated in a smoky spice mix and BBQ sauce, served on buns with toppings of your choice.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 6 soft burger buns
02 - 2 ½ pounds of brisket
03 - 1 ½ cups of BBQ sauce (any kind you love)

→ Smokey BBQ Dry Rub

04 - 1 teaspoon of black pepper
05 - 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
06 - 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
07 - 1 teaspoon of salt
08 - 1 teaspoon of onion powder
09 - 1 tablespoon of smoked paprika

→ Optional Toppings

10 - Coleslaw
11 - Extra BBQ sauce for drizzling
12 - Crisp pickles
13 - Slices of fresh onions

# Steps:

01 - Put a cup of BBQ sauce at the bottom of the slow cooker.
02 - Stir all the dry rub ingredients together in a bowl. Massage the blend into every inch of the brisket. Set the brisket inside your slow cooker.
03 - Set it to cook on low for about 7 to 8 hours, covered.
04 - Take the brisket out and let it sit untouched for 10 minutes. You’ve got two options: shred it or slice it thin.
