Sweet Savory Crackers (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 package (5.3 oz) Boursin cheese (garlic and herb or black pepper style)
02 - 1 lb. bacon (thin or regular slices, not thick-cut)
03 - 1 to 1.5 sleeves of Club crackers

→ Topping

04 - 2 tablespoons crushed red pepper flakes
05 - ½ cup packed dark brown sugar

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 300°F. Cover a baking tray with foil or parchment so it catches the grease. Put a wire rack over the top.
02 - Cut each bacon slice into four parts to fit the crackers. Keep red pepper flakes and brown sugar in their own bowls for easy use.
03 - Spread about ⅛-inch of the Boursin cheese on every cracker, then line them up neatly on the rack.
04 - Lay one bacon piece over each cracker. Generously sprinkle on brown sugar, then add a bit of red pepper flakes over the top.
05 - Bake for 35-45 minutes. Rotate the tray halfway through baking. Check after 30 minutes. They’re finished when the bacon’s cooked and the cracker edges look browned.
06 - They taste great warm or even once they’ve cooled down to room temperature.

# Notes:

01 - Okay to keep out for a few hours
02 - Store in the fridge for 3 to 4 days
