Ultimate Turkey Melt (Print Version)

Hot sourdough sandwich packed with turkey, melted cheddar, crunchy bacon, and crisp greens. Quick comfort food.

# Ingredients:

→ Bread and Condiments

01 - 4 thick slices of sourdough bread
02 - 2 tablespoons of honey mustard sauce
03 - 2 slices of creamy white cheddar cheese
04 - 4 slices of turkey from the deli

→ Veggies and Bacon

05 - 1 medium red tomato, sliced thin
06 - 1/2 cup of baby spinach leaves
07 - 4 bacon strips, already cooked

→ Cooking Touch

08 - 2 tablespoons of soft butter for spreading

# Steps:

01 - Lay out the sourdough pieces on your countertop. Spread that honey mustard on one side of each piece, covering the surface well.
02 - Split the cheddar into four smaller pieces. Start stacking by adding cheese, turkey, tomato slices, spinach, and bacon on two pieces of bread, then top with the other two slices.
03 - Take that softened butter and coat the outside part of the bread on all four sides.
04 - Place the sandwiches in a skillet over medium heat. Let them cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until the cheese oozes and the bread becomes crispy and golden.
05 - Move the sandwiches to your plates and enjoy them warm with whatever sides you want.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - For better flavor, use freshly sliced cheese instead of pre-shredded options.
02 - Substitute with non-dairy ingredients if needed.
03 - Tastes amazing with a side of salad or hot soup.
