Mix in your drained noodles with everything else in the pot. Stir until it all comes together, then shake in some salt and pepper if you want

Drop the heat to low. Pour in the milk and sprinkle in your cheddar, then keep stirring ‘til it all melts into a smooth sauce

Toss the chopped chicken and peas into your warm broth. Let it cook for another few minutes, maybe 3 to 4, until the peas look right

Pour the chicken broth into your big pot and warm it up to a gentle simmer

Cook the ramen noodles just like the directions say, but don’t use those seasoning packets. Drain out the water and put the noodles aside
