Preheat the oven to 200°C. Mix the peeled garlic cloves with olive oil and a pinch of salt. Transfer to a mini oven-safe pot with a lid or cover with foil and bake for approximately 20 minutes until soft and golden. Mash with a fork and set aside.
02 -
In a bowl, combine mashed roasted garlic, melted butter, egg, milk, salt, paprika, and parsley. Whisk thoroughly until smooth.
03 -
Reduce oven temperature to 175°C. Slice the sheet of bread rolls into two halves. Place on a large baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes until light golden and crispy.
04 -
Transfer the prepared garlic butter custard to a larger pan. Carefully dip the baked bread sheets or French baguette loaves into the custard, ensuring all sides are well coated.
05 -
Place the coated bread back onto the baking sheet. Bake at 175°C for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
06 -
Top the bread with shredded mozzarella cheese. Change the oven setting to broil or grill and heat for approximately 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
07 -
Garnish the cheesy garlic bread with fresh parsley and chili flakes. Slice and serve hot.
