Garlic Pull Apart Bread (Print Version)

Warm, crusty bread packed with garlic butter, pizza flavors, and stretchy cheese. Everyone will keep coming back for more.

# Ingredients:

→ Base - Bread & Garlic Butter

01 - 1 large loaf of unsliced bread like Sourdough, Vienna, or Pane Di Casa
02 - 4 crushed garlic cloves (or 1 tablespoon pre-minced garlic)
03 - ⅔ cup melted butter

→ Toppings & Stuffing

04 - Handful of fresh basil, shredded thinly
05 - 1 medium tomato, diced small
06 - Mini pepperoni slices (about 3½ ounces)
07 - 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning (or dried herbs)
08 - ⅓ cup of pizza sauce
09 - A bit less than 1 cup of shredded mozzarella (¾ cup)
10 - ¼ of a red onion, diced into tiny pieces

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (176°C) to preheat.
02 - In a small bowl, stir garlic into the melted butter until smooth.
03 - Grab a sharp knife. Cut criss-cross lines on the bread’s top, stopping 1-inch from the base, forming diamonds. Don’t go all the way through!
04 - Put the loaf on a foil-lined or parchment-lined baking sheet.
05 - First, drizzle half the butter mixture between bread cuts, then spoon in pizza sauce. Layer mozzarella, basil, onion, pepperoni, and chopped tomato into the cracks.
06 - Pour what’s left of the buttery mix on top and sprinkle herbs over everything.
07 - Cover bread with foil and let it bake for 15–20 minutes so the cheese gets gooey.
08 - Remove the foil. Bake for another 10 minutes until the bread crisps up and cheese browns just right.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - Swap store-bought bread with homemade Artisan Bread for extra flavor.
02 - Be patient. Let the loaf cool down a bit before digging in.
