Pesto Garlic Bread (Print Version)

Crusty baguette slathered with garlic butter, loaded with bright pesto, and covered with gooey cheese. It goes awesome with Italian dinners or just on its own.

# Ingredients:

01 - Pinch of salt and pepper as you like.
02 - Handful of chopped basil leaves.
03 - 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese.
04 - 1 cup mozzarella, shredded.
05 - Half a cup of basil pesto.
06 - Three cloves finely chopped garlic.
07 - Half a cup of unsalted, soft butter.
08 - One loaf of Italian or French-style bread.

# Steps:

01 - Get your oven going at 375°F. Toss some parchment paper on a baking sheet.
02 - Set your loaf cut-side up on the tray after slicing it from end to end.
03 - Stir garlic into the butter until it's mixed. Spread this onto both pieces of bread.
04 - Dump on the pesto over the garlic butter, then sprinkle your mozzarella followed by Parmesan.
05 - Let it bake until cheesy and bubbly, usually about 10 to 12 minutes. Want a golden top? Flip it to broil for 1 or 2 minutes if you feel like it.
06 - Chop up some basil, throw it on top, cut it up, and dig in while it's warm.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - Grab a bread knife with those little teeth for smooth slices.
02 - Make sure every bit gets plenty of toppings.
03 - Keep an eye on things if you decide to broil—it goes fast.
