Chicken Cheese Toastie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 tablespoons marinara sauce
02 - 1 crispy chicken patty or leftover chicken Parmesan, cooked
03 - 2 slices of mozzarella cheese
04 - 2 pieces of sourdough or Italian bread
05 - 1 tablespoon softened butter
06 - Optional: Sprinkle some grated Parmesan cheese on top

# Instructions:

01 - Turn the stove to medium heat and let the skillet warm up. While that's happening, slather one side of both bread slices with butter.
02 - In the hot pan, put one bread slice butter-side down. Add a slice of mozzarella, your chicken patty, some marinara sauce, and finish with another slice of mozzarella. Place the second bread slice on top with the buttered side up.
03 - Cook for about 3 to 4 minutes per side, flipping when necessary, until golden and melty. If you want to, grate a little Parmesan on top before eating.

# Notes:

01 - For a lighter version, swap in grilled chicken and whole grain bread. Toss in fresh basil or a sprinkle of garlic powder for a flavor boost!
