Cinnamon Roll Muffin Swirls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dry Ingredients

01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1 tablespoon baking powder
03 - 3/4 cup granulated sugar
04 - 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
05 - 1/2 teaspoon salt

→ Wet Ingredients

06 - 1 cup whole milk
07 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
08 - 2 large eggs (room temperature)
09 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Filling

10 - 1/4 cup brown sugar
11 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

# Steps:

01 - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt.
03 - In another bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
04 - Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined to form a batter.
05 - In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and ground cinnamon for the filling.
06 - Fill each muffin cup two-thirds full, layering and swirling half of the cinnamon mixture into the batter before adding the remainder of the batter on top.
07 - Bake in the preheated oven for 18–20 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
