Quick Cinnamon Cruffins (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - Three 8-ounce tubes of crescent roll dough, refrigerated
02 - 6 tablespoons softened butter, divided
03 - 1 cup white sugar
04 - 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder

# Instructions:

01 - Set the oven to 350°F and grease a 12-cup muffin tray using nonstick spray.
02 - Lay out each dough tube on a floured surface and roll it into a 12x16 inch rectangle. If it's perforated, press any seams closed.
03 - Coat each rectangle with 2 tablespoons of butter. Combine the cinnamon and sugar in a bowl, sprinkling 1/4 cup of the mixture on each sheet. Lightly press the sugar mix so it sticks. Keep the leftover sugar mix handy.
04 - Tightly roll up the dough starting from the longer side to shape logs. Halve each log, then cut each piece the long way into 4 parts, making 12 sections total.
05 - Take each section and roll it into a cinnamon roll shape with the cut sides visible. Pop them into the greased muffin tray.
06 - Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden. Right out of the oven, coat each cruffin in the remaining cinnamon sugar mix.

# Notes:

01 - Go for crescent roll sheets—they save time!
02 - Enjoy these best while they're fresh and warm.
03 - Want to mix it up? Add chocolate chips before rolling.
