Preheat a mini waffle maker and lightly grease it. Add about 1 tablespoon of batter per section and cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Repeat with remaining batter.

In a small saucepan over low heat, combine honey, butter, and optional maple syrup with a pinch of salt. Stir until smooth and remove from heat.
