# Ingredients:

→ Cornbread Waffle Bites

01 - 1 cup cornbread mix
02 - 1/2 cup buttermilk
03 - 1 large egg
04 - 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
05 - 1/4 cup cooked and crumbled bacon (optional)

→ Honey Butter Syrup

06 - 1/4 cup honey
07 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter
08 - 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional)
09 - Pinch of salt

# Steps:

01 - In a mixing bowl, combine the cornbread mix, buttermilk, and egg until smooth. Fold in cheddar cheese and bacon, if desired.
02 - Preheat a mini waffle maker and lightly grease it. Add about 1 tablespoon of batter per section and cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Repeat with remaining batter.
