Creamy Salmon Sauce (Print Version)

Juicy salmon in a smooth, flavorful sauce with dried tomatoes, Parmesan, and a hint of Italian seasoning.

# Ingredients:

01 - A handful of fresh basil to top it off.
02 - 1/2 cup of freshly grated parmesan.
03 - 5 garlic cloves, finely chopped.
04 - About 1/3 cup of sun-dried tomatoes, chopped.
05 - 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream.
06 - A cup of low-sodium chicken broth.
07 - 1/4 teaspoon each of black pepper and salt.
08 - 3/4 teaspoon of crushed chili flakes.
09 - 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme leaves.
10 - A teaspoon each of onion and garlic powders.
11 - 1 teaspoon of dried basil flakes.
12 - 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.
13 - 3-4 fillets of salmon, no skin.

# Steps:

01 - Combine all the seasonings. Use half to coat each piece of salmon.
02 - Heat up a pan with some oil, cook the salmon for 5 minutes each side, then set it aside.
03 - Cook the garlic and dried tomatoes until softened, then pour in the chicken stock to scrape up the stuck bits.
04 - Pour in the cream, mix in the parmesan and remaining seasoning, and let it simmer for 10 to 15 minutes so it thickens.
05 - Place the salmon back into the sauce and let it warm for 3-5 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh basil before serving.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - Cook the salmon 3 minutes if you like it medium or 5 for well-done.
02 - Swap some of the oil for the one from the sun-dried tomatoes for a bigger flavor.
