Rinse potatoes under water and slice into rounds about 1/2 cm thick. Drop the slices into water as you go.

Pour out the water and dry the potato slices completely. Use a clean towel or paper towels to get rid of all moisture.

Toss the dry slices in a bowl with olive oil, dried herbs, garlic powder, and salt until coated evenly.

Spread the slices in the fryer basket in one layer. Cook at 390°F for 18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.

Check if the slices are crunchy and golden. Cook them for 2 more minutes if needed. Serve while still warm.
