# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
02 - 1/4 cup powdered sugar
03 - 1 tsp vanilla extract

→ Batter

04 - 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
05 - 1/4 cup cornstarch
06 - 1 tsp baking powder
07 - 1/2 tsp salt
08 - 1/2 cup milk
09 - 1 egg

→ Frying

10 - Vegetable oil for frying

→ Optional Coating

11 - Cinnamon sugar

# Steps:

01 - In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
02 - In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the milk and egg to form a smooth batter.
03 - Using a spoon, scoop out small portions of the cream cheese mixture and roll them into balls. Place the cream cheese balls on a tray and freeze them for at least 1 hour. This will help them hold their shape when frying.
04 - Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan or fryer to 350°F (175°C). Dip each frozen cream cheese ball into the batter, ensuring it’s fully coated. Carefully drop them into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
05 - While the bites are still warm, roll them in cinnamon sugar for an added sweet touch (optional).
