Set your oven to 350°F. Beat the butter, sugar, and salt until it’s creamy and fluffy—takes about 5-7 minutes. Add in eggs one at a time, then toss in the extracts. Slowly stir in the flour at the end.

Push about 3 cups of the dough into a lightly greased 15x10x1-inch pan. Spread the cherry filling over it. Drop teaspoon-sized bits of the leftover dough over the filling.

Pop it in the oven for 35–40 minutes until it’s got a nice golden top. Let it cool fully on a rack while still in the pan.

Blend together the powdered sugar, extracts, and just enough milk to get the glaze texture you like. Drizzle it on top once the bars are totally cool.
