Air Fryer Choco Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cookie Mix

01 - 1 1/2 cups plain flour
02 - 1/2 cup softened butter (1 stick)
03 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
04 - 1 egg, let it warm to room temperature
05 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
06 - 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
07 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
08 - 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
09 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

# Instructions:

01 - Pop the butter in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for about 10 to 20 seconds—just enough to start softening. Stir in both sugars and mix until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla, beating for half a minute. Fold in the flour, salt, baking soda, and chocolate chips until it becomes dough.
02 - Toss the dough in the fridge for anywhere from 30 minutes to overnight. This isn't necessary, but it helps the cookies keep their shape.
03 - Cover the racks of your air fryer with parchment paper. Using a scoop or spoon, form 2-tablespoon-sized dough balls and space them about 1.5 inches apart in the basket. Fit as many as your air fryer allows—usually between 2 and 4.
04 - Set the air fryer to 325°F and bake for 5 to 7 minutes until the cookies turn a lovely golden color. Let the cookies sit in the fryer a few minutes before taking them out.
05 - Keep baking the rest of the dough in batches until you've cooked them all.

# Notes:

01 - When they first come out of the air fryer, these cookies will be soft but will firm up as they cool.
