Mozzarella Pepperoni Croissant Rolls (Print Version)

Golden croissants stuffed with mozzarella and pepperoni deliver crisp, cheesy flavor in every bite.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 package croissant dough
02 - 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
03 - 6 ounces pepperoni slices
04 - 2 tablespoons butter, melted
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
07 - 1 teaspoon dried basil

# Steps:

01 - Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
02 - Unroll the package of croissant dough and separate the dough into individual triangles along the perforated lines.
03 - Place the shredded mozzarella cheese in a small bowl and set it aside. Cut the pepperoni slices in half to create smaller pieces.
04 - Melt the butter in a microwave-safe dish or on the stovetop. Stir in garlic powder, dried oregano, and dried basil until well combined.
05 - Brush the butter mixture generously over the surface of each croissant dough triangle.
06 - Place a few pieces of pepperoni slices at the wide end of each dough triangle and sprinkle a heaping tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese over the pepperoni.
07 - Carefully roll up each dough triangle, starting from the wide end and gently rolling towards the point, keeping the cheese and pepperoni inside.
08 - Place the rolled croissants on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one to allow for expansion during baking.
09 - Brush the remaining butter mixture over the top of each croissant roll for added flavor and a golden finish.
10 - Bake the croissant rolls in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
11 - Remove the croissants from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - Ensure the croissants are tightly rolled to prevent the filling from spilling during baking.
