Set your oven temperature to 375°F and let it heat thoroughly.

Cook spaghetti in boiling water until it's just tender but still firm (al dente). Drain well and take it off the heat.

In a big skillet, cook the sausage and beef over medium heat, adding onion partway through. Drain extra grease, then return meat to the pan. Stir in garlic, paste, tomato sauce, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5-8 mins. Stir in cooked pasta, mix completely, and set aside.

Slice the loaf lengthwise into two halves. Use your hands or a utensil to scoop out the insides, leaving deep hollows. Brush the entire inside cavity and outer edges with butter, then sprinkle garlic powder all over. Toast in the oven until crispy.

Once the bread is nice and crunchy, spoon the pasta and meat mixture into the hollows, packing it in completely. Sprinkle one half of the divided cheeses over each hollowed loaf.

Pop them in the 375°F oven for 15-20 minutes. Pull out when the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned. Carefully slice using a serrated knife and serve warm.
