# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - Salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
02 - Salt, to taste
03 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
04 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
05 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
07 - 1 teaspoon lemon zest
08 - 1 tablespoon honey
09 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
10 - 1 lemon, thinly sliced
11 - 1 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.
02 - Place the salmon fillets, skin-side down, on the prepared baking sheet. Season each fillet with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
03 - In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, honey, and chopped parsley. Stir well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
04 - Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over each salmon fillet, ensuring each piece is coated.
05 - Arrange the lemon slices on top and around the salmon fillets. Optionally, sprinkle dried thyme over the top for added flavor.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time may vary slightly depending on the thickness of the fillets.
07 - Once done, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - To add a touch of spice, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter.
02 - This dish pairs excellently with roasted vegetables or a fresh green salad.
03 - For an added layer of flavor, try using a mix of fresh thyme and dill instead of just parsley.
04 - If you prefer crispy salmon skin, you can broil the salmon for 2-3 minutes after baking.
