Garlic Steak and Potatoes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - About 1½ pounds of mini potatoes (one whole bag)
02 - 1½ pounds of beef stew chunks
03 - 2 tablespoons of garlic, finely minced
04 - 1 stick of butter, cut into smaller slices

→ Seasonings (add to your taste)

05 - Garlic powder
06 - Salt
07 - Italian herbs
08 - Onion powder
09 - Ground black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Give your slow cooker a quick spray with some non-stick spray to prevent food from sticking.
02 - If you've got a few extra minutes, brown the beef chunks in a pan first for extra flavor. It’s not required though.
03 - Put the meat onto one side of the crockpot. Place the potatoes on the other side, drizzle a bit of oil over them, and sprinkle on whatever seasonings you prefer.
04 - Spread out the minced garlic evenly across the meat and potatoes. Place the butter slices on top of everything.
05 - Pop the lid on and cook on the high setting for 4–5 hours, making sure the meat hits at least 145°F when done.

# Notes:

01 - If you sear the beef before slow cooking, it gives a nice boost to the flavor.
02 - Pairs wonderfully with a fresh salad or steamed veggies.
