Pizza Grilled Cheese (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Garlic Butter Topping

01 - ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning, dried
02 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
03 - 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese, grated
04 - ½ cup butter, softened, unsalted

→ Assembly Ingredients

05 - 12 slices of mozzarella cheese
06 - 8 slices of plain white bread
07 - Warm dipping pizza sauce
08 - 6 ounces of pepperoni

# Instructions:

01 - Mix together the soft butter, grated parmesan, garlic powder, and dried seasoning in a medium bowl until smooth and everything blends perfectly.
02 - Use the garlic butter to coat one side of each bread slice evenly. Arrange them buttered-side-up on a tray while waiting to assemble.
03 - In a skillet over medium-low heat, place one slice of bread, buttered side down. Layer it with a piece of mozzarella, 6 pepperonis, another mozzarella slice, 6 more pepperonis, one final piece of mozzarella, and lastly, the second slice of bread with buttered side on top.
04 - Cover the pan with a lid so the cheese starts melting. Let the bottom bread cook until it turns golden brown, roughly 3-5 minutes.
05 - Flip the sandwich with a spatula carefully. Pop the lid back on and let the other side cook until it turns golden and the cheese is molten inside. Do the same for the remaining sandwiches.
06 - Eat right away, serving with a side of warm pizza sauce for dunking.

# Notes:

01 - Don’t cram the pan; toast these sandwiches in smaller batches.
02 - Put finished ones on a wire rack to keep the texture crispy.
03 - Want more sandwiches? The recipe doubles easily.
