Ham and Havarti Cheese Sliders (Print Version)

Warm ham and Havarti layered on Hawaiian rolls, finished with buttery mustard-poppy glaze. Crowd-pleasing appetizer.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 package Savory Butter Hawaiian Rolls (12 count)
02 - 12 slices black forest ham
03 - 6 slices Havarti cheese

→ Mustard-Butter Glaze

04 - 4 tablespoons salted butter
05 - 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
06 - ¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
07 - ¼ teaspoon onion powder (optional)
08 - 1 tablespoon poppy seeds

# Steps:

01 - Slice the entire block of rolls in half without separating the rolls. Remove the top half and set aside. Place the bottom half of the rolls in a lightly greased 9x12 baking pan.
02 - Layer each roll with a slice of ham and a half slice of Havarti cheese.
03 - In a microwavable bowl, cover and heat butter for about 30 seconds or until melted. Stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and poppy seeds.
04 - Place the top half of the rolls back on and brush generously with the butter-poppy seed mixture.
05 - Loosely cover the dish with foil and bake at 350˚F for about 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the tops of the buns are golden brown.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - Avoid separating the rolls while slicing to maintain their structural integrity.
02 - Covering the dish with foil during the initial baking stage prevents the tops from browning too quickly.
