Heart Chocolate Chip Cookies (Print Version)

Soft, chewy chocolate chip cookies cut into hearts while still warm. Quick and no chilling needed for Valentine's Day.

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 cup butter that’s softened
02 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
04 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
05 - 3/4 teaspoon salt
06 - 1 teaspoon of baking soda
07 - 2 large eggs at room temp
08 - 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
09 - 2 1/4 cups of regular flour

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F and get some parchment laid on a baking sheet.
02 - Stir flour, baking soda, and salt together with a whisk.
03 - Beat butter with both sugars until it’s light and fluffy, then mix in vanilla and eggs.
04 - Slowly add the dry mixture to the wet one. Gently stir in those chocolate chips.
05 - Drop about 2 tablespoons of dough per cookie onto your sheet, then bake for 9 to 11 minutes.
06 - Once out, cut into hearts right away. Let cool fully on a rack.
