Use an espresso maker or a macchinetta to make espresso. Strong coffee (4 ounces) works too as an alternative.

Take milk and heat it up. Make it foamy by whisking, using a frother, or a steam wand.

Pour frothed milk into the cup along with that vanilla syrup.

Carefully pour the espresso on top of the milk. It'll leave a little spot on the foam.

Go around the edges of the cup with caramel sauce, then make a crisscross pattern in the middle.
