# Ingredients:

→ How to Make the Sloppy Joes

01 - 1 pound of ground beef, lean (90/10 is suggested)
02 - One 8-ounce can of tomato sauce (preferably without added salt)
03 - 1/4 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce (Ray's Original without sugar is a good one)
04 - 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon mustard, depending on how much you like (Dijon works great)
05 - A tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
06 - 1 teaspoon of powdered onion
07 - 1 teaspoon of powdered garlic
08 - 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
09 - 3/4 teaspoon of sea salt (go lighter if you're not using low-sodium tomato sauce)
10 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
11 - Half a cup of cheddar cheese, freshly shredded
12 - Some hamburger buns for serving

# Instructions:

01 - Stir together garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper in a small mixing bowl until it’s all mixed up.
02 - In another bowl, pour the tomato sauce, BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard. Whisk it up until smooth and blended.
03 - Grab a box grater and shred the cheddar cheese if it’s not done already. Put it aside for later.
04 - Toss the ground beef into a big skillet and cook it over medium heat until it’s browned and done. Get rid of any extra fat.
05 - Put the beef back in the skillet, pour in the seasoning mix and sauce, and stir until the meat’s evenly coated.
06 - Sprinkle the shredded cheddar on top and stir until it melts and combines. Take it off the heat.
07 - Spoon the sloppy joe mixture onto the buns and top with anything else you love.

# Notes:

01 - Keep leftovers in a sealed container in the fridge for 4 days max.
02 - Want to freeze it? Let the mixture cool first, then store it in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months.
