Honey Garlic Pork (Print Version)

Juicy pork tenderloin gets covered in honey-garlic goodness and herbs, then it’s seared and baked until perfect.

# Ingredients:

→ Meat & Base

01 - 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
02 - 1 pound pork tenderloin

→ Seasonings

03 - ½ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
04 - 1 tablespoon rosemary, chopped
05 - ½ teaspoon salt
06 - ½ teaspoon chili powder
07 - ½ teaspoon onion powder
08 - 1 tablespoon thyme, minced
09 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder

→ Sauce

10 - 2 tablespoons water
11 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch
12 - 3 tablespoons brown sugar
13 - 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
14 - ⅓ cup orange juice, freshly squeezed
15 - ½ cup soy sauce, light
16 - ½ cup honey

# Steps:

01 - Grab your pork, poke holes all over it with a fork, and set your oven to 350°F.
02 - Toss garlic, soy sauce, orange juice, all your spices, honey, and fresh herbs together. Drench the pork in this mix.
03 - Pour oil in a hot oven-safe pan and brown the pork on every side for a couple of minutes each.
04 - Slide the pan into the oven and let the pork cook through for 18 to 20 minutes until it's ready.
05 - Heat up leftover soy sauce, honey, and brown sugar in a small pot. Stir in cornstarch mixed with water and let the sauce get thick.
06 - Brush the meat with your sauce, pop it under the broiler for 3 minutes till it’s sticky, then let it sit 5 minutes before you cut it.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - Poking holes in the pork lets all those marinade flavors soak right in
02 - An oven-safe skillet means you won’t have to switch pans for baking
