Honey Garlic Salmon Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1½ lb salmon fillet, cut into 1-inch pieces and skin removed
02 - 3 tbsp olive oil, split between steps

→ Seasonings

03 - 1 tsp ground black pepper
04 - 1 tsp smoked paprika
05 - 1 tsp onion powder
06 - 1 tsp garlic powder
07 - ¾ tsp table salt

→ Sauce

08 - 2 tsp freshly minced garlic
09 - 1 tsp finely grated ginger
10 - 3 tbsp soy sauce
11 - ¼ cup honey
12 - 2 tbsp rice vinegar

→ Garnish

13 - 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
14 - 2 tsp finely chopped chives

# Instructions:

01 - Use a paper towel to dry the salmon pieces. Sprinkle them with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Drizzle on 1 tbsp of olive oil and gently coat each piece.
02 - Warm a skillet with 1 tbsp of oil. Place the salmon chunks in one layer, turning them over often as they cook for 4-5 minutes until crisp and golden brown. Remove the crispy pieces and repeat with the rest.
03 - Using the same pan, pour in the rest of the oil. Toss in the garlic and ginger and lightly cook for a minute. Mix in the soy sauce, honey, and rice vinegar. Let it bubble for 3-5 minutes until it thickens just a bit.
04 - Put the salmon back into the pan and toss everything together until the pieces are well-coated in sauce. Adjust the flavor if needed, then serve hot over steamed rice. Dig in!

# Notes:

01 - You can air fry this at 390°F for 7-9 minutes.
02 - Swap salmon with shrimp or chicken if you feel like it.
