Baked Honey Mustard Pork Chops (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Pork Chops

01 - 4 pork chops, boneless and about 1 inch thick
02 - 2 tablespoons cooking oil
03 - Salt and pepper to season as you like

→ For the Honey Mustard Sauce

04 - 1/4 cup of honey
05 - 1 tablespoon yellow mustard (the kind that’s pre-made)
06 - 2 tablespoons of whole grain mustard
07 - 1 tablespoon white balsamic vinegar or apple cider vinegar
08 - 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
09 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
10 - Salt and pepper to adjust to your taste
11 - Fresh parsley, finely chopped for topping

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on to 425°F (220°C) and let it heat up.
02 - Coat the pork chops with oil, then season with salt and pepper. Place them on a greased baking sheet with sides and pop them in the oven for 20 minutes.
03 - While the pork cooks, combine the honey, both types of mustard, vinegar, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Give it a taste and adjust the honey or mustard to your preference.
04 - Spread the honey mustard sauce generously over the pork chops after the first round of baking. Set your oven to broil on high and cook for another 5-10 minutes. The chops should be fully cooked, and the sauce should get sticky with a slight caramelized glaze.
05 - Plate the pork chops, drizzle the sauce from the pan on top, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and enjoy.

# Notes:

01 - For the best outcome, let the pork chops sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before cooking.
02 - Pork is good to eat when its internal temperature hits 145°F (63°C) and it rests for 3 minutes.
