Korean Ground Beef Bowls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Beef Mix

01 - 3 minced garlic cloves
02 - 1 lb of 90% lean ground beef

→ Flavor Sauce

03 - 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
04 - 1/4 tsp ground ginger
05 - 1/4 cup light soy sauce
06 - 1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
07 - 2 tsp sesame oil
08 - A pinch of black pepper

→ Toppings and Base

09 - 2 cups freshly prepared brown or white rice
10 - Toasted sesame seeds for sprinkling
11 - Chopped green onions for topping

# Instructions:

01 - Heat a big skillet on medium, break apart the meat while cooking it with garlic until browned, then get rid of any extra grease.
02 - Stir together soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, crushed red pepper flakes, sesame oil, and black pepper in a small bowl until smooth.
03 - Pour the sauce into the pan with the cooked beef, then let it all simmer for a minute or two to soak up the flavors.
04 - Put the savory beef mix over warm rice, then top it off with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.

01 - Either brown or white rice works great for this dish.
