Quick Chicken Parm Grilled Cheese (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Sandwich Ingredients

01 - 2 pieces of sourdough or Italian bread
02 - 1 chicken patty (breaded and cooked) or leftover chicken parm
03 - 2 mozzarella slices
04 - 2 big spoonfuls of marinara sauce
05 - 1 spoonful of softened butter
06 - A sprinkle of grated Parmesan for decoration (if you want)

# Instructions:

01 - Warm up your pan over medium heat. During that time, spread butter on one side of both bread pieces.
02 - Take one bread slice and put it in the pan with the buttered side facing the pan. Add one layer of mozzarella, place the chicken patty on top, spoon over the marinara, and throw on another layer of mozzarella. Cover it all with the second piece of bread, buttered side facing up.
03 - Toast the sandwich until it’s golden brown and the cheese is gooey, about 3 to 4 minutes for each side. Add a dash of Parmesan on top before eating if you’d like.

# Notes:

01 - Go for a healthier twist by swapping out the breaded chicken for grilled chicken and using whole-wheat bread instead. Toss in some garlic powder or fresh basil for a little something extra.
