# Ingredients:

→ For the pasta

01 - 340 g (12 oz) of your favorite pasta like rotini, penne, or fettuccine
02 - A tablespoon of olive oil

→ For the cheeseburger mixture

03 - 450 g (1 lb) of ground beef
04 - One small onion, finely chopped
05 - 3 garlic cloves, minced
06 - 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
07 - 240 ml (1 cup) of heavy cream
08 - 120 ml (1/2 cup) of milk
09 - 100 g (1 cup) of shredded cheddar
10 - 50 g (1/2 cup) of grated Parmesan
11 - 2 spoonfuls of ketchup (optional, for a cheeseburger kick)
12 - 1 small spoon of mustard (optional)
13 - 1 small spoon of paprika
14 - A pinch of salt and black pepper to suit your taste

→ For garnish

15 - Snipped green onions
16 - More crumbled bacon

# Instructions:

01 - Fill a large pot with salted water and wait for it to boil. Cook the pasta as directed on the package until it’s just tender. Drain, mix with olive oil so it doesn’t stick, and set aside.
02 - Heat up a large pan on medium. Toss in the ground beef and cook it until it’s fully browned. If there’s too much fat, pour it off. Add your chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook for 2-3 minutes until the veggies are soft and smell amazing.
03 - Turn the heat down to medium-low. Stir in the cream, milk, ketchup, mustard, paprika, salt, and pepper. Let it cook gently for 2-3 minutes so everything blends together.
04 - Mix in the cheddar, Parmesan, and crispy bacon bits. Keep stirring until the cheeses are melted and you’ve got a nice, smooth sauce.
05 - Add your cooked pasta to the pan and stir until every piece is covered in the cheesy sauce. Let it heat through for a minute or two.
06 - Spoon the pasta into a serving bowl and sprinkle the top with green onions and extra bacon. Serve while it’s nice and hot.

# Notes:

01 - For a smoky twist, sprinkle in smoked paprika or a little BBQ sauce.
02 - This tastes the best fresh, but leftovers can go in the fridge for 3 days. Warm it on the stove or microwave to reheat.
03 - Want something lighter? Use ground chicken or turkey instead of beef.
