In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, egg, finely diced onion, minced garlic, fresh parsley, Panko breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper until thoroughly mixed.

Cut fresh mozzarella into 1/2-inch cubes.

Take about 2 tablespoons of meatball mixture, flatten it with fingers, place a mozzarella cube in the center, enclose the cheese, and roll into a ball. Prepare 12 meatballs.

Heat olive oil in a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat, add meatballs, and brown on all sides carefully.

Pour marinara sauce over browned meatballs in the pan. Cover, and simmer for 10 minutes, flipping meatballs halfway for even cooking.

Serve over pasta, garnish with fresh parsley and extra parmesan cheese, and enjoy!
