Olive Garden Soup (Print Version)

Rich Italian-inspired soup with hearty sausage, crispy bacon, soft potatoes, and fresh kale.

# Ingredients:

→ Proteins

01 - 1 pound of sausage, Italian-style
02 - 5 thick bacon slices

→ Veggies

03 - 1 whole medium onion, diced
04 - 4 big red potatoes, chopped up
05 - 5 garlic cloves, finely chopped
06 - 1 small kale bunch

→ Broths and Flavors

07 - 4 cups of plain water
08 - 2 cups of chicken stock
09 - A quarter teaspoon of Italian herbs blend
10 - 1 cup of thick cream

# Steps:

01 - In 5 minutes, fry up the bacon, then brown the sausage for 15 minutes until crispy.
02 - Use the leftover grease, stir in onions and garlic, and cook for about 2 or 3 minutes.
03 - Toss in potatoes, water, broth, and the seasonings. Let it all bubble away until the potatoes soften up.
04 - Pour in heavy cream and mix in the kale. Let it cook just 5 minutes until the kale softens.

03 - Any kind of potatoes will work fine.
