08 - Fresh parsley leaves, chopped for sprinkling

→ Pasta Ingredients

09 - 8 oz of dry linguine
10 - 2 tbsp butter
11 - 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
12 - 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
13 - Salt and black pepper, as desired
14 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
15 - Fresh parsley, roughly chopped, for decoration

# Instructions:

01 - Heat a large pot of salted water until it’s bubbling. Toss in the linguine and cook it until it’s just tender, following the package directions. Remember to scoop out 1/2 cup of the water before draining, and then set the noodles aside.
02 - Mix together the chicken pieces, black pepper, salt, paprika, and Italian herbs in a bowl. Make sure all the pieces are evenly coated with seasonings.
03 - In a hot skillet on medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Lay the chicken in and cook each side for about 4 to 5 minutes until it's golden-brown and fully cooked. Take it out and set it aside for now.
04 - Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter in the same pan. Add garlic and let it cook for roughly 30 seconds till it smells amazing. Stir in the lemon zest and juice, blending everything together.
05 - Pop the cooked chicken back into the pan with the garlic lemon butter sauce. Stir it around to get the chicken fully coated, then keep it warm for plating.
06 - Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a new saucepan on medium heat. Add the cream and let it warm up. Slowly whisk in the Parmesan cheese until it’s creamy. Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and pepper to make it extra tasty.
07 - Stir the cooked pasta into the creamy Parmesan mixture until every strand is covered. Need it thinner? Add a little bit of the reserved pasta water while stirring until it’s just right for you.
08 - Serve the pasta on a plate and lay the chicken pieces on top. Finish with a sprinkle of parsley for some fresh flavor.

# Notes:

01 - Try swapping in half-and-half if you want a less rich option.
02 - Goes great with steamed veggies or a salad on the side.
03 - Seal leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
04 - For a spicy kick, toss some red chili flakes on the chicken.
