01 -
Cover a 10x15-inch pan with wax paper and leave it on the side for later.
02 -
Pour 1 1/2 cups of the chocolate chips into a bowl that's safe for the microwave. Heat in short 20-second bursts, stirring every time, until it's fully melted and smooth. Spread it evenly on the wax paper, leaving a little border around the edges.
03 -
Pop the chocolate layer into the fridge for around 10 minutes to let it firm up.
04 -
Grab a medium bowl and toss in the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and softened butter. Use a hand mixer on medium to blend everything into a smooth mix. Spread it out evenly on the hardened chocolate base.
05 -
Stick the pan back in the fridge for 5-10 minutes, so the peanut butter layer can firm up.
06 -
Melt the rest of the chocolate chips (2 cups) using the same 20-second microwave method, stirring in between. Spread the melted chocolate evenly on top of the chilled peanut butter layer.
07 -
Sprinkle Reese's Pieces on the still-soft top chocolate layer. Gently press them down a bit so they stick well.
08 -
Chill everything in the fridge for about 10 minutes or until it's completely firm. Break into chunks and store in a container with a tight lid.
