Easy Pizza Bagels (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 oz of mozzarella cheese, shredded
02 - 4 bagels, split into halves
03 - ½ cup of your favorite marinara or pizza sauce

→ Toppings

04 - Cooked pancetta, about 2 oz
05 - Pepperoni, chopped into tiny pieces, about 12 slices
06 - Black pepper, freshly ground, to taste
07 - Oregano, dried, for sprinkling

# Instructions:

01 - Set the oven to 400°F. Move the oven rack to the upper part of the oven. Put parchment paper on a baking sheet and keep it close by.
02 - Cut bagels in half. Spread about a tablespoon of sauce onto the flat sides. Toss a handful of shredded cheese (about an ounce per bagel half) on top. Add pancetta and pepperoni, then sprinkle some oregano and a pinch of black pepper. For extra cheesiness, top with a bit more cheese if you like. Place bagels on the baking sheet. Keep going with the rest of the bagels.
03 - Bake the bagels for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is gooey and melted perfectly.

# Notes:

01 - Freeze the bagels by laying them on a parchment-covered sheet in the freezer for 1–2 hours until they're hard.
02 - Keep frozen bagels for up to 30 days in an airtight freezer bag.
03 - Warm frozen bagels in the oven at 350°F until the cheese is melted again.
