Shrimp Scampi Linguine (Print Version)

Crispy shrimp on linguine with white wine sauce, fresh tomatoes, and herbs. Inspired by restaurant flavors.

# Ingredients:

01 - Large shrimp, peeled—2 lbs.
02 - Melted butter, 2 tbsp.
03 - Crunchy panko crumbs, 1 cup.
04 - Grated parmesan, half a cup.
05 - Cajun spices, 2 teaspoons (split).
06 - Lemon pepper, 2 tsp, divided.
07 - Chopped parsley, 1/2 cup.
08 - Diced tomatoes, 1/2 cup.
09 - Red onion, finely chopped, 1/2 cup.
10 - Garlic paste, 1 tbsp.
11 - Regular butter, 2 tbsp.
12 - White wine, 1.5 cups.
13 - Heavy cream, 2 cups.
14 - Parmesan for sauce, 1 cup.
15 - Fresh lemon juice, 1 tbsp.
16 - Lemon zest, 1 tbsp.
17 - Linguine pasta, 1 lb.

# Steps:

01 - Boil linguine following the directions. Mix shrimp with seasonings, coat in breadcrumb mix.
02 - Cook the shrimp in shallow oil, 3 minutes on each side till crispy and golden.
03 - Cook the veggies in butter. Pour in wine and let it cook down. Stir in cream, let it thicken. Add cheese at the end with seasoning.
04 - Combine the linguine with the sauce. Top it all off with shrimp and fresh lemon zest.

01 - The breadcrumbs should feel light on shrimp.
02 - Use an egg wash for extra coating if you'd like.
