Golden Turmeric Milk (Print Version)

A comforting, plant-based drink with turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and cozy spices blended in creamy milk.

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 stick cinnamon or 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
02 - 2 inches fresh turmeric, sliced or 1 ½ tsp ground turmeric
03 - 2 ½ cups full-fat almond milk or coconut milk, unsweetened
04 - 1 inch fresh ginger, sliced or ½ tsp ground ginger

→ Additions

05 - 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
06 - 1/2 tsp coconut oil
07 - A dash of black pepper

# Steps:

01 - In a small pot, add milk, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper, and coconut oil.
02 - Warm it up on the stove, stirring now and then. Don't let it boil.
03 - Add a bit of honey or maple syrup to make it sweeter.
04 - Remove any solids if using fresh spices. Pour into cups and sprinkle on some cinnamon if you'd like.
