In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. In a separate bowl, mix the warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, mixing until the dough begins to come together. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5-7 minutes, or until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean towel, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
02 -
In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Stir in the chopped strawberries and strawberry jam until well combined.
03 -
In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until smooth and well combined.
04 -
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle (about 30x45 cm). Spread the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the dough, then layer the strawberry cheesecake filling on top. Carefully roll the dough up into a tight log from the long edge. Cut the dough into 12 equal rolls and place them in a greased 23x33 cm baking dish. Cover with a clean towel and let them rise for 30 minutes.
05 -
Preheat your oven to 175°C. Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
06 -
While the rolls are baking, beat the cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth. Adjust the consistency with more milk if needed.
07 -
Drizzle the cream cheese glaze over slightly cooled rolls. Serve warm and enjoy.
