# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup butter, soft.
02 - 1/2 cup white sugar.
03 - 1/2 cup packed brown sugar.
04 - 1 large egg, at room temperature.
05 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla.
06 - 1 3/4 cups plain flour.
07 - 1/4 teaspoon baking powder.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
09 - 1/4 teaspoon of table salt.
10 - 1/2 cup crushed freeze-dried strawberries.
11 - 4 ounces softened cream cheese.
12 - 2 tablespoons sugar for filling.
13 - 1 teaspoon vanilla for filling.
14 - 1/4 cup jam made from strawberries.

# Steps:

01 - Stir together cream cheese, sugar, jam, and vanilla until creamy. Pop the mixture into the fridge.
02 - Whip softened butter with white and brown sugar until fluffy. Toss in egg and vanilla, then mix again.
03 - Stir salt, baking soda, baking powder, and flour in a bowl. Add dry mixture slowly into the wet mix.
04 - Add crushed strawberries gently into the dough. Let it sit in the fridge for half an hour.
05 - Shape the dough into flattened portions, place the filling inside, seal edges, and roll into balls.
06 - Lay cookies on parchment-lined pans, bake at 350°F for about 12-15 minutes until edges start to brown.
