Preheat the oven to 400°F. Place a wire rack on top of a rimmed baking sheet, spray with nonstick spray, and set aside.

Slice the top off of the jalapeños and carefully remove the seeds inside. Use gloves when handling jalapeños.

Combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, brisket, and chili powder in a bowl. Mix thoroughly.

Transfer the mixture to a gallon-sized ziplock bag, cut off the corner, and use it as a piping bag to fill each jalapeño with the mixture.

Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a slice of bacon.

Place the bacon-wrapped jalapeños onto the prepared wire rack-lined baking sheet and bake them on the center rack for 10 minutes.

Turn the jalapeños over and bake for another 10 minutes.

Remove the jalapeños from the oven and brush them with BBQ sauce. Turn the broiler on low.

Place the jalapeños 6 inches under the broiler for 2 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning. Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
