Valentine's Day Cocoa Bombs (Print Version)

Festive cocoa treats with marshmallows, conversation hearts, and colorful sprinkles for a delightful Valentine’s surprise.

# Ingredients:

01 - 200g red candy melts (approximately ½ bag)
02 - 15g white candy melts (approximately 1 tablespoon)
03 - Valentine sprinkles
04 - Mini marshmallows
05 - Conversation hearts

# Steps:

01 - Add red candy melts to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 60 seconds at 50% power and stir. Repeat until smooth, stirring in between intervals.
02 - Add a dollop of melted candy into one cavity of the mold and use the back of a spoon to spread it around. Repeat with all 6 molds, reserving leftover candy. Freeze for 10 minutes.
03 - Reheat the red candy if hardened. Remove the mold from the freezer, add a second layer of melted candy, spreading it up the sides as before. Freeze again to harden.
04 - Heat a small fry pan over medium heat, then remove it from the heat. Remove the hardened candy spheres from the mold. Place the edge of each sphere onto the hot pan for 1–2 seconds to smooth and flatten the rims.
05 - Place candy spheres onto a flat surface with the open side up. Fill half the spheres with mini marshmallows and conversation hearts.
06 - Place an empty sphere, open side down, onto the hot fry pan for a few seconds. Gently press it onto a filled sphere and hold for a few seconds to seal. Allow to harden.
07 - Add white candy melts to a resealable bag without sealing. Microwave on 50% power for 30 seconds, kneading until smooth. Cut a small tip off one corner of the bag and drizzle the white candy over the tops of the bombs. Add valentine sprinkles and allow to harden.
08 - Heat 240ml (1 cup) of milk in the microwave or on the stove until hot. Place a hot cocoa bomb in a mug and pour hot milk over it slowly. Stir until dissolved. Add additional marshmallows and conversation hearts if desired.
