Stuffed Chicken Dinner (Print Version)

Tender chicken packed with cheesy goodness and fresh asparagus. A fast and healthy dinner idea, perfectly low-carb.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 12 trimmed asparagus spears
02 - 4 mozzarella slices
03 - 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless

→ Seasonings

04 - 1/2 teaspoon oregano
05 - 1/2 teaspoon thyme (dried)
06 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
08 - 1/2 teaspoon paprika

→ Additional

09 - 2 spoonfuls of olive oil (extra virgin)
10 - A squeeze of fresh lemon juice, if desired

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F. Slice into each chicken breast to make a deep pocket, leaving one side attached.
02 - Sprinkle thyme, oregano, salt, paprika, and garlic onto the chicken pieces.
03 - Put the cheese and asparagus inside the chicken pockets. Use toothpicks to keep everything together.
04 - Warm up a skillet on medium-high heat and add oil. Brown the stuffed chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
05 - Move the skillet to the oven and cook for 15 minutes. Check that the chicken's internal temperature hits 165°F.
