# Ingredients:

01 - ¼ cup (57 g) butter, melted
02 - 1 ½ cups (354 g) milk
03 - 1 teaspoon lemon juice
04 - 2 large eggs
05 - 3 tablespoons white sugar
06 - 3 tablespoons light brown sugar
07 - 2 ½ cups (300 g) all-purpose flour
08 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
09 - ½ teaspoon baking soda
10 - ½ teaspoon salt
11 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
12 - 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

→ For the Cinnamon Whipped Cream

13 - 1 cup (240 g) heavy whipping cream
14 - 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
15 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
16 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

# Steps:

01 - Add the cream, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon to a mixing bowl. Whip using an electric mixer or stand mixer until stiff peaks form. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
02 - Preheat your waffle iron to its highest heat setting. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, lemon juice, eggs, and vanilla extract. Add the white sugar, brown sugar, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Whisk until the batter is smooth and lump-free. Lightly brush the waffle iron with melted butter to promote browning and caramelization. Pour enough batter into the waffle iron to spread to the edges, being careful not to overfill. Close and cook for 3–5 minutes or until waffles are golden and crisp. Carefully remove the waffles and serve hot with cinnamon whipped cream.
