Cookie Dough Chocolate Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cookie Dough

01 - 3/4 cup chocolate chips
02 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
03 - 1 cup all-purpose flour, heat-treated
04 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
05 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
06 - 2 tablespoons milk
07 - 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed

→ Chocolate Coating

08 - 1 teaspoon optional coconut oil
09 - 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips

# Instructions:

01 - Mix the soft butter and brown sugar in a bowl until the texture is fluffy and light. Add the salt and vanilla, blending them in together.
02 - Slowly stir the flour into the mix until it's well blended. Pour in the milk and stir to form a smooth dough.
03 - Gently mix in the 3/4 cup of chocolate chips, ensuring they're spread throughout the dough.
04 - Scoop and roll dough into small balls about the size of a tablespoon. Arrange them on a tray lined with parchment and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
05 - Put the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe dish. Heat for 20 seconds at a time, stirring after each round until smooth and melted.
06 - Dip half of each chilled ball into the melted chocolate, then put them back on the lined tray. Sprinkle a few chocolate chips on them if you like.
07 - Let the chocolate fully set either at room temp or in the fridge to speed it up. Dig in and enjoy your treats!

# Notes:

01 - How to heat-treat flour: Spread it on a baking tray and bake it for 5 minutes at 350°F (175°C) to kill bacteria. Cool completely before use.
02 - Keep refrigerated in a sealed container for up to 7 days.
03 - Get creative by rolling the chocolate-dipped bites in sprinkles, coconut shreds, or crushed nuts before the coating hardens.
