Mix the soft butter and brown sugar in a bowl until the texture is fluffy and light. Add the salt and vanilla, blending them in together.

Slowly stir the flour into the mix until it's well blended. Pour in the milk and stir to form a smooth dough.

Gently mix in the 3/4 cup of chocolate chips, ensuring they're spread throughout the dough.

Scoop and roll dough into small balls about the size of a tablespoon. Arrange them on a tray lined with parchment and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Put the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe dish. Heat for 20 seconds at a time, stirring after each round until smooth and melted.

Dip half of each chilled ball into the melted chocolate, then put them back on the lined tray. Sprinkle a few chocolate chips on them if you like.
