Hawaiian Danish Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pack (12 count) of King's Hawaiian sweet rolls.
02 - 1 tablespoon of butter, melted, for greasing.
03 - ⅓ cup butter, melted, for the glaze.
04 - 2 tablespoons of packed brown sugar.
05 - A pinch (⅛ teaspoon) of fresh nutmeg, optional.
06 - ½ tablespoon of ground cinnamon.
07 - 1 egg, large.
08 - 8 ounces of softened cream cheese.
09 - 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 375°F. Use the melted butter to coat a 9x13 dish.
02 - Slice an 'X' across the top of each roll, being careful not to go all the way through.
03 - Stir together nutmeg, cinnamon, melted butter, and brown sugar in a bowl until combined.
04 - Drizzle the butter mixture all over the rolls, making sure they’re fully covered.
05 - Whip the cream cheese until smooth, and then blend in the egg and sugar until creamy.
06 - Spoon or pipe the cream cheese filling into the 'X' cuts on each roll.
07 - Put the dish in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, until the tops are golden and the filling is set.
08 - Let it cool slightly before digging in.

# Notes:
