01 -
Rub cooking spray or butter all over the cupcake pans. Put them aside once coated.
02 -
Put marshmallows and butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for about 2 minutes, watching closely to prevent overflow. Stir until smooth and blended.
03 -
Dump the crispy rice cereal into the melted marshmallow mixture. Stir everything together until all cereal is well-coated.
04 -
While it’s still warm, scoop the mixture into the greased cupcake pans. Use wax paper to press down in the middle, shaping each into a nest. Let them sit for at least half an hour.
05 -
In a mixing bowl, toss in the butter, milk, vanilla, and 2 cups of powdered sugar. Blend until it turns creamy (takes around 5 mins). Add the rest of the sugar and green dye, then beat again until it’s the consistency and color you like.
06 -
Pop the cooled nests out of the pans. Pipe on the green frosting to look like grass, and place the candy eggs on top.
07 -
Let the frosting firm up a bit before serving. Dig in and enjoy these cheerful treats!
